OM642 (diesel V6, GLE Coupe 300d/350d models) If your GLE Coupe has the OM642 diesel V6, swirl flap and injector wear is a well-documented pattern on this engine, backed by multiple manufacturer technical service bulletins. We replace worn swirl flaps, injector seals and timing chain components as standard on every OM642 rebuild.
AMG V8 (M157/M177, GLE63 Coupe) If your GLE Coupe is the GLE63 AMG — with either the earlier M157 or current M177 V8 — valve seal and coolant system wear are established AMG specialist patterns. We inspect and replace valve seals and coolant components as standard on every AMG V8 rebuild.

The GLE Coupe (C167) has been part of the GLE-Class range since 2020, and across its engine range has used several different engines — from the OM642 diesel V6 shared with the earlier W166 generation, through to today's OM656 diesel, M256 petrol MHEV, M176 V8, and the AMG M157/M177 V8 units.
